WinDS3: a robust driver and utility enabling users to connect PS3 controllers (Dualshock3 / Sixaxis) with Windows-based PCs.
The software is an all-in-one program that requires no other software, such as ppjoy, libusb, or joy2key. WinDS3 supports two controllers simultaneously with one Bluetooth adapter and allows you to connect your PS3 controller via a wireless Bluetooth adapter. The joypad is original supported with the same axis/button mapping as the X360 controller, and virtual keyboard/mouse drivers enable you to use it as a keyboard/mouse in any game.
WinDS3 also supports all games on Windows XP/Vista (32bit) at the keyboard/mouse mapping mode, and up to 12 groups of key mapping with a fast switch function. The X/Y motion sensor is supported, and you can record joypad operations while playing and replay them as macros. Short-cut keys are supported while playing games, and the X360 controller emulator fully supports rumble/vibration (for example, GTA4, GRID, LOST PLANET, DEVIL MAY CRY 4...).
Note that the beta version of the software means that some games marked as [Games for Windows] may need future upgrades to be supported. WinDS3 is an excellent driver and tool for anyone who wants to use their PS3 controller as a normal wireless joypad or as a keyboard/mouse in any game. Its many features, like the X360 controller emulator, fast switch function, and macro recording, make it a must-have for PC gamers.
