This Thunderbird add-on enhances the Find Toolbar by adding three new features, improving search efficiency and accuracy.
The first is the "dictionary-assisted find" for Japanese (or any other language). With this feature, you can easily search for Japanese terms using roman-letter spelling. Plus, you can even find modified Latin letters with their simpler counterparts.
The second feature is an even more customizable Find Toolbar. You can automatically check "Highlight all" and "Match Cases," and found terms can be shown in the center of the screen for maximum visibility.
Finally, XUL/Migemo includes a highlight feature similar to Safari 3. In "Highlight all" mode, the content area is covered by a dark screen, and the focused term is shown with a fun animation effect.
It's worth noting that XUL/Migemo is a cross-platform add-on, so it works just as well on Mac OS X as it does on Windows. If you're looking for an easy way to improve your Thunderbird searching capabilities, give XUL/Migemo a try today.
