You're hired by the United States government to begin work on a highly classified operating system: The Zero OS. Obviously, the project coordinator has other plans.
As the release date approaches, the lead developer: Atlus, vanishes. It turns out he was using your talents to aid terrorist networks, all of which have paid top dollar for the "ultimate" operating system.
Now, with your reputation (and your freedom) on the line, you're to take one of the beta systems and try to hack into as many of these bootleg systems as possible to try to trace it back to Atlus...before a terrorist network is able to gain momentum and launch a huge attack on the United States.
