PocketPC users can streamline their database needs with a user-friendly and robust software application. With full functionality to create, read, edit, and manage Acc files, this software is designed for efficiency on the go.
The main functions and features of Access Manager include the ability to work with Access databases (*.cdb) on your Pocket PC, create new or modify existing databases, edit or rename table structures and fields, add, edit or remove data records (including the new feature to edit queries), and quickly load large tables. Additionally, Access Manager offers an array of advanced filter, search and sort options for tables, and you can manually or automatically resize the columns based on column name or data width.
Other features of Access Manager include the capability to export records to CDB, RTF, TXT and object stores, online documentation in three languages, the inclusion of a sample database (northwind.cdb), availability in German, English, Spanish, French, and Italian, and free updates.
Several new features have been added in the latest version, including the ability to view tables 66% faster (without cell format) and the addition of a checkbox for "bit" fields. You can also add new database fields to your existing tables, delete single fields, rename tables more quickly and safely, rename existing fields, and undo actions. Access Manager features two new edit dialogs (copy, paste, cut, select), and the replace function has been improved.
Another significant new feature is the ability to associate a table with a second one and fully edit it. You can set cell width with one click, use different input for date fields (date and time), create indexes in tables (which makes them open faster), and call phone numbers via DTMF, Infrared, and Bluetooth.
Access Manager requires a Pocket PC 2000 or Pocket PC 2002 and one of the following processors: XScale, StrongARM, MIPS, or SH3. In summary, Access Viewer is a perfect tool for database management on your PocketPC, offering both accessibility and functionality.
