CodeTwo Exchange Sync automates the synchronization of multiple Microsoft Exchange Server folders. Users can sync Public Folders with personal mailboxes or handhelds thanks to advanced synchronization options.
This powerful software supports one-way, two-way and folder-ring synchronization, giving users flexibility in syncing and ensuring that synchronized data can be updated on the fly. One-Way sync means that data is synchronized in one direction only, while Two-Way replication synchronizes data in two directions, ensuring that synchronized folders always contain the same elements. When multiple folders are synchronized in the Two-Way mode, a "folder ring" is created, which is the third synchronization type. This means that data from each folder is replicated in all other folders from the ring.
CodeTwo Exchange Sync is incredibly versatile, and when used in One-way mode, can be used to synchronize Public Folders with handhelds, including PDAs, BlackBerry, and iPhone. The program syncs data from Public Folders to personal folders, and once the data appears in personal folders, the items can be easily downloaded by your mobile device.
This software can be installed on a computer hosting Exchange Server or on any other workstation in the network connected to it. If the Exchange Server is not installed on a computer, the machine must be equipped with Microsoft Outlook 98 or 2000 in the Corporate or Workgroup mode at least. CodeTwo Exchange Sync has been voted MSExchange.org Readers' Choice Award 1st Runner-up in the Exchange Server Administration category, indicating its usefulness and popularity among users.
