A flexible video player and manager that can categorize an endless number of videos. Add new videos to existing categories, and create subcategories to maintain a well-organized library of video content.
One of the standout features of this software is how easy it is to add a new video to a category. All you need to do is name the video with the highest sequence name and place it in the relevant category folder. The video will then be displayed as the latest addition to that category. This makes it incredibly simple to continuously add videos to numerous categories and stay organized.
Additionally, the player is fully customizable. It's currently set up to display videos in blocks of 15, but this can easily be expanded or limited to a lower number. Adding categories and subcategories is also made easy. The frame graphics are loaded externally as JPGs, which means you can change the appearance of the player to anything you like by replacing the current texture map JPGs with new ones. You can make it any theme you desire, whether it's sleek steel, rustic wood, fiery flames, or even pink and purple hearts!
The text color, text backgrounds, and menu color schemes are all controlled by a script which is clearly labeled, making it easy to make any customizations you desire. The video player can house 450 x 337 videos as the native size, and the total dimensions of the SWF is 900 x 500. It also comes with detailed instructions to make the whole process even easier.
Overall, I'm incredibly impressed by this software. It's intuitive to use, highly customizable, and perfect for anyone looking to organize and display their video collection. If you're interested in seeing the software in action, a test page is set up at /video_player4.html.
