Florentine Solitaire

This software features a game where the player is presented with 5 cards dealt as a cross on the table, forming 5 tableau piles. Another card is dealt as the start of the first foundation pile, and the other 3 foundation piles should start with cards of the same number. The ultimate objective is to move all cards to the foundation piles, which should be built up in suit (wrapping from K to A if necessary).

On each turn, you flip one card from the stock pile to the waste pile. From there, you can move a card from the waste pile or any of the tableau piles to the foundation piles. The 4 tableau piles that surround the center of the cross can also be built, with cards being built down regardless of suit and from A to K if necessary. The center pile in the cross can only hold one card, so strategizing which card to place there is crucial.

Once all stock cards have been used up, the waste pile can be turned over to become the stock cards again - this action can only be done once during the game. The game ends either when there are no more moves available, or when all cards have been moved to the foundation piles.

The number of cards you place in the foundation piles determines your final score. As a fully-featured software, this is an enjoyable game with an intuitive interface that gamers are sure to appreciate.
