Hammerfall DSP is a driver designed for audio interfaces, allowing for seamless audio output and input through computer systems.
The HDSP interface is responsible for connecting the I/O box to a computer. Users have the option of either a CardBus card or a PCI card, depending on their preference. The I/O box, in turn, provides the connection to external equipment and processes all data. It comes in various input/output configurations to suit different users' needs.
The Hammerfall DSP System utilizes a driver to function as an audio interface. The latest release of the system includes several innovative features. These include a newly programmed settings dialog and TotalMix with Auto Load, Dock Lock, and Auto Remove. The firmware revision check has also been added to the Settings dialog.
The latest release also sees the addition of Input Offset and Output Offset values. Analog I/O cards will report higher values, which ensures that analog loopback has no offset. Digital loopback, on the other hand, will show negative offsets. There have also been several improvements to the Digiface/Multiface, including changes to the order of AutoSync sources, with Word now on top.
The ADAT receiver has also been improved, and a new option, Word Clock Out Single Speed, has been added. The Flash Update Tool 13/51 has seen several fixes, including a bugfix for communication problem at some sample rates.
There are also several improvements and additions to the Hammerfall DSP System’s TotalMix, including a Monitor panel and MIDI support. The HDSP9632 has received updated hardware with a flash update, including an internal loopback, improved ADAT receiver, and DDS, which has been added to the Settings dialog.
