Block and empty: A strategic card game where players aim to block their opponents' paths and be the first to empty their hand.
The aim of the game is to place all the tiles in your hand onto the table before your opponent does so. Multiplayer Dominoes is played with a set of 28 tiles, each with two sides marked with 0-6 pips. A tile with the same number on both sides is known as a "double" and no two tiles are the same.
At the start of the game, each player is dealt seven tiles. The player with the highest double, or highest rank of tiles if neither player has a double, starts the game. Players take turns to place tiles onto the table, selecting tiles from their hand that have a matching number of pips on one side with that of a tile on either end of the domino chain.
There are specific rules for placing tiles, such as a double needing to be placed perpendicularly to the previous tile and the next tile played to a double also needing to be perpendicular to the double. Tiles cannot be connected when blocked by other tiles or when they reach the edge of the table.
If a player runs out of moves, they can draw a tile from the stock pile. However, they cannot do so if the stock decreases to two or below. The round continues until a player empties their hand and wins the round, with the total number of pips on the other player's remaining tiles added to the winner's score.
Overall, Multiplayer Dominoes is an enjoyable game that provides hours of fun for all ages.
