uuIE (MiniIE) is a IE Browser component that utilizes the same Trident engine as Internet Explorer, providing the same view. Developed as MiniIE, it showcases web pages in a concise and straightforward manner.
If you want to view news, weather forecasts, flash games, and other content in a small window, uuIE is the perfect choice. uuIE is a part of uuAssistant, and is the first to come with uuAssistant. It can also be run as a standalone software, but the version in uuAssistant offers more functions such as password protection and auto-run on Window's startup.
uuIE is a simple, clear, and succinct software that occupies minimal space in addition to displaying web pages. Additionally, it is always OnTop, making it easy to access. The software does not require installation and can be run after downloading. Furthermore, it utilizes the same favorites list as Internet Explorer and allows users to add and manage bookmarks.
uuIE is a Multilanguage software, currently supporting English (United States), Japanese (Japan), Chinese (PRC), and Chinese (Taiwan). Users can add more languages by downloading the source code of uuIE and modifying the lang.ini file before placing it in the directory of Lang\ of uuIE.
The source code for uuIE is released to the public, providing developers with the opportunity to modify and improve upon the software. However, the framework of ccProc used by uuIE does not currently have plans to release its source code. As a result, users cannot compile it. If you like uuIE, we suggest trying uuAssistant for even more features and capabilities.
