VTReader is a basic video text reader software for Mac that displays .txt files with standard characters in frames. It is available in English and French and is donationware, but overall is considered to be a very useless application.
One of the main issues I had with VTReader was its lack of functionality. I was expecting a range of customization options, such as the ability to adjust the font or read rate, but the application fell short in this regard. Additionally, despite being available in English and French, there weren't any language-specific features that made the software standout.
Another downfall of the software is the fact that it's donationware. While I appreciate the ability to use software for free, I felt as though the quality of this application didn't warrant any sort of compensation for the developers.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend VTReader to anyone looking for a comprehensive video text reader. While it's technically functional, it lacks the customization and usability that most users look for in these types of applications.
