With a capacity to store more than 65,000 contacts in both white and yellow pages, 1st Contact provides ten user-defined categories that enable sorting and displaying of contacts in multiple ways. Users can add personal and business information for every contact, including phone and fax numbers, email addresses, and web URLs. Clicking on a specific contact in the contact list displays all the information of that contact in an easy-to-read format on the right side of the screen. Users can access the contact's phone number by simply clicking on it to auto-dial, clicking on their email address to send a Q-Note, or clicking on their web URL to open their default web browser and connect to it.
The software provides a customizable menu and tool bar that makes managing contacts a breeze. Users can also search using the Keyword Search option, which searches all of 1st Contact, including notes. Additionally, users can print out phone lists and contact information for use outside the office. For those who need to share their contact list with their entire office, 1st Contact is already network ready. Users can install copies of the software on all the computers they wish to share data with, follow the tutorial provided in the help files to set up a multi-user system, and they're ready to go!
