Bastille Solitaire is an improved version of the popular "Peg Solitaire" game that originated in Europe in the 1800s and was reportedly invented by a prisoner in the Bastille.
Bastille Solitaire offers two types of levels: puzzle levels and strategy levels. The goal of the puzzle levels is the same as in the original Peg Solitaire - remove all the pegs except for one. Meanwhile, the strategy levels require players to remove as many pegs as possible.
The gameplay is simple, but requires strategy and critical thinking. A peg can jump over any adjacent peg, as long as there is an empty space on the other side. When a jump is made, the peg that was jumped over is removed from the board. Only horizontal and vertical jumps are allowed.
To play, simply click the peg you want to move and then click the space where you want it to land. The game is challenging yet addictive, and provides hours of entertainment for players of all ages. With its sleek and stylish design, Bastille Solitaire is a must-have for any puzzle or strategy game enthusiast.
