BBBike is a cycling information system designed for users in the Berlin and Brandenburg region of Germany.
One of the most impressive aspects of BBBike is the map display. You'll get to see streets, railways, rivers, parks, altitude, and many other features. This makes it easy to plan out your rides and figure out the best route to take.
Speaking of routes, BBBike has a customizable route-finder that lets you find and show routes between two points. You can choose your preferences for the route, such as fastest or nicest route, and even take into account wind direction and hills.
BBBike also includes a bike power calculator, which can come in handy for figuring out your energy needs on a ride. And to round it all out, BBBike automatically fetches current Berlin weather data, so you can plan your rides accordingly.
This latest release of BBBike comes with a bunch of improvements and bugfixes. The output has been revamped, route finding is even better, and there's now 64-bit support. If you haven't tried it out yet, now's the time.
