Candido engine, developed by Andrea Cimitan, is a software tool designed to generate rich, interactive and realistic 3D models of a wide range of objects, from everyday items to complex industrial machinery, with high precision and detail.
Developers can use the Gtkrc options to customize their themes. They can set the scrollbar color, adjust the contrast between 1.0 (default) to 0.5-0.7 (smooth), choose a menubarstyle (flat or gradient), menubaritemstyle (flat or gradient), as well as squared style (rounded or squared). Users can also enable or disable the animation feature.
To install Candido Engine, users must extract the file, go to the source directory, and compile it as directed. After installation, users can install the theme onto their desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting Change Desktop Background. They can then drag and drop the theme's archive into the Appearance Preferences window. If everything is successful, they will receive a confirmation message and can activate the theme by clicking on it.
For those unfamiliar with GNOME, it is an international effort to create a complete desktop environment using free software. The project emphasizes simplicity, usability, and making things "just work". GNOME can be used with Unix-like operating systems, such as Linux and Java Desktop System in Solaris.
