The EMS Data Import tool efficiently imports data to InterBase/Firebird tables from a variety of file formats. These include MS Excel, Access, DBF, TXT, XML, CSV, MS Word, RTF, ODF, and HTML files.
Data Import for InterBase / Firebird has a built-in wizard that enables users to set all the InterBase / Firebird import options for various files visually. Other than that, it also has a command-line utility that allows one-touch execution of import to InterBase / Firebird database.
Key features of the software include import from 10 of the most popular formats, importing data to one or several tables or views from different databases, a number of import modes like Insert All, Insert New, Insert or Update, and others. Moreover, adjustable import parameters are available for each source file, and all import parameters set on the current wizard session are automatically saved. Additionally, table structures are created automatically, and users can import data using the configuration file through the command-line utility. Lastly, the powerful visual options module makes it easier for users to navigate through the software.
