Emulex Linux Drivers is a software package that offers source access to Emulex's LPFC devices, comprising the LightPulse Fibre Channel family of HBAs.
Emulex aims to work with the open-source community to gain acceptance of the source into the upstream kernel. Other features included in this release are support for more members of the Light Pulse 11xxx (4Gb) family, synced model descriptions with Emulex standard generic names, and the addition of polled-mode support to the driver. The driver also comes with code to adjust lun queue depth to prevent target overloading.
