Scalix Connect for Evolution is included in the Evolution Scalix software package.
The installation process is simple yet detailed. To compile the package, CD or navigate to the directory, which contains the package's source code, and type "configure" to configure the app on your system. If you are using csh on an old version of System V, type "sh configure" instead to prevent csh from attempting to execute configure. Running "configure" takes a while, and while running, messages show which features it is testing for.
After successful configuration, type "make" to compile the package. If you want to run any self-tests that come with the package, optionally type "make check." To install the programs, data files, and documentation, use "make install." You can remove the program binaries and object files from the source code directory by typing "make clean." If you want to remove the files that configure created, allowing you to compile the package for a different type of computer, type "make distclean."
Lastly, there is also a "make maintainer-clean" target, beneficial for the package's developers. Suppose you use it; you may need to get other programs to regenerate files that came with the distribution. The Evolution Scalix package is an exceptional tool that boosts Evolution's functionality in no time.
