Happydigger is a cataloging software designed for archaeologists to organize and manage their discoveries efficiently.
To compile Happydigger, you need the gtk+-2.0 and sqlite development libraries and headers. The simplest way to compile the program is to navigate to the directory containing the package's source code and run "./configure" to configure the package for your system. Then, run "make" to compile the package. A package called "pkg-config" is also needed to compile Happydigger. Finally, run "make install" to install the program and any data files and documentation.
The navigation of the program is done by clicking the toolbar buttons, with button usage explained by tooltips. The first six toolbar buttons are used for browsing the database, followed by a group of three buttons for applying changes to a record, deleting a record, or adding a new record. The last group of three buttons show a list view of all records, the preferences dialog, and the help dialog.
This release of Happydigger fixes compilation issues with the most recent version of gtk+, which is 2.12.0. Only the source code is distributed, with no added features or other changes.
