"Kiriki" is a Yahtzee game designed for the KDE environment. Players can roll the dice, score points based on the combinations, and compete with others online. It's a fun and engaging way to play the classic game on your computer.
The main objective of Kiriki is to score more points than your opponents. As soon as the game starts, the first combination is presented to player one. If you are player one, it becomes your turn immediately. However, if you are not player one, you must wait for all other players to make their moves before your turn begins. When you play a single player game, player one is controlled by you while the five other players are done automatically by the computer.
Once it is your turn, you should first examine the current roll. The five dice each have a specific value on the left-hand side of the screen. Roll the dice to see if they align in a specific sequence, which will earn you specific score patterns. It is important to note that sometimes a combination can match more than one score pattern, so players must decide which pattern would yield them more points. In case the current sequence doesn't match any score pattern, or it matches a score pattern that you have already used up, you have two more rolls to fix the situation.
To utilize your second or third roll, select the dice you're unsatisfied with and then click the roll button located under the dice screen. This action will cause those specific dice to be re-rolled, which will change their values. After the third roll, you must select a score pattern that matches the dice sequence, or you can choose the chance score pattern. If you select a score pattern that doesn't match the current dice sequence, the score pattern you choose will be of zero value. As soon as you choose a score pattern, the value updates according to your current dice sequence, and your turn ends. The next participant's turn then begins, and this sequence repeats thirteen times until the game ends.
Once the game ends, the scores are calculated, and high scores are awarded. With its user-friendly format and appealing graphics, Kiriki has become a favorite among game enthusiasts. It provides entertainment for both single players and group players alike, making it the perfect game for any occasion.
