This software is a game that is similar to Mario, but with a violent twist. There is blood and gore present in the game, making it unsuitable for young children.
Not only does Mega Mario allow you to play using either a keyboard or a gamepad, but the controls are also very easy to figure out. For instance, you can use the Arrowkeys to move Mario, Space / A to jump, and CTRL / B to run/fire. Plus, the game saves your progress whenever you reach a castle, which means that you can pick up where you left off whenever you return to the game.
One standout feature of Mega Mario, however, is the blood mode. This gory mode makes the enemies you kill spread their blood all over the level, which gives the game a bit more personality than some other Mario clones out there. Additionally, once you've beaten the game, you can use the Level-Editor (which is discussed in detail in the "Editor.txt" file) to create your own levels. If you're especially proud of your custom levels, you can even send them to the game's developer and potentially see them added to the game.
Overall, I had a great time playing Mega Mario. The game is fun, easy to pick up, and even has a unique feature in its blood mode. If you're a fan of Mario, platformers, or just want to try out a fun new game, I'd highly recommend giving Mega Mario a chance.
