Minirok is a compact Python music player designed for the K Desktop Environment.
Despite its simplified approach, Minirok offers a user interface that's almost identical to Amarok's, along with the same look and feel. The main interface features a tree view of the filesystem, with a playlist that can only be populated via drag-and-drop. Unfortunately, there is no collection built from tags, so it's targeted at users whose music collection is already structured at the filesystem level.
On the bright side, searches can be performed both in the tree view and the playlist, making it easy to find the music you're looking for. If you're a fan of minimalist music players that don't bog you down with unnecessary features, Minirok is definitely worth trying out.
