mod_memcached is an Apache module that provides GET, PUT, and DELETE services to Memcached clusters.
Version: 0.2mod_memcached is an Apache module that provides GET, PUT, and DELETE services to Memcached clusters. Using this you can serve content directly from memcached through Apache to clients.
Operating System: Linux
You will need to type "make; make install" and then copy the contents of the memcached.conf into your apache server's httpd conf.
By default at the moment this module will take over your entire web server. Content type is derived from the object stored in memcached. PUT and DELETE support have not been tested well, and unless you know what you are doing do not enable them by default.
What's New in This Release:
· MemcachedExpiration was added to set default expire times on objects pushed into memcached.
· MemcachedSizeLimit was added to limit the size of objects which can be pushed into memcached.
· Fixed bug in not being able to store data via HTTP PUT
· Added support for Apache filters
