Movica is a user-friendly software that provides a graphical interface for command line tools to edit video files such as .wmv, .flv, and .mpg, which can be challenging from VirtualDub. It simplifies editing efforts with the utilization of efficient command line tools.
Another useful tool for editing media files is FLVtool, which functions as a metadata updater and flv movie editor. For those who prefer using a graphical user interface, Movica is a reliable option. This software integrates the above mentioned programs, with the additional benefit of keyboard shortcuts to simplify the editing process. Moreover, if you have RealProducer 11 Basic, you can edit .rm movies with Movica.
With Movica, you can conveniently select, delete, copy, paste, and fine-tune specific parts of your video. You can also merge multiple files and split movies into smaller ones. Furthermore, editlists allow you to play selected parts of the movie without having to actually edit the original footage. Although primarily geared towards video files, Movica also supports editing, joining, and splitting .wma and .mp3 audio files.
