This software lets you convert and burn any video file to VCD, DVD, SVCD, MPEG1 and MPEG2 formats. The Pro version has all the features of the lite version plus "DVD Author Express" and "DVD/VCD/SVCD Burner Engine" embedded.
What sets this program apart from its competitors, is that it has been optimized for 64-bit CPU, including Intel EM64T and AMD64, which means its video conversion speed is much faster than its competitors. The enhanced MPEG Encoder Engine is also optimized for 64-bit CPU, including Intel EM64T and AMD64, Pentium 4 processor, and AMD Athlon processor, as well as supports SSE2 and hyper-threading CPU. This feature makes it so that any video to VCD/DVD/SVCD is even faster than real-time.
Not only does this program support burning VCD/DVD/SVCD, but it also supports .VOB, .asf, .wmv, .rm, .rmvb, .mov format as an input file. It also supports DivX, XviD avi format, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 video format, MPEG layer1, layer2, layer3 audio format, and subtitles, which you can add onto your output movie. In addition, it also includes a "split function" that allows you to cut a big MPEG file into several smaller parts to make it easier to fit onto a CD-R capacity.
The program also supports both TV systems: NTSC/PAL and has an Input/Output preview at the same time. Furthermore, it has two output modes: Stretch to Fit/Lock Aspect Ratio, and it has high audio and video quality, as well as supports no sound avi files. The batch function included also supports converting multiple avi files to DVD VCD SVCD MPEG1/2 at the same instance, and it has a Merge/Join function that allows you to select several avi clips from different sources and combine them into one single output.
Finally, the program has an online upgrade/help service site and an update detector, making it easy to know if a new version is available. Overall, I was extremely impressed with this All-in-One video converter, and even more impressed by its very competitive price.
Version 7.07: 1. Fixed an audio processing bug. .
