ooc offers the fast performance of C with the user-friendly convenience of Java programming language.
ooc supports classes, abstract functions, foreaches, and more. To learn more about the language, you can check out the LanguageSummary page on the wiki.
If you're interested in experimenting with the compiler, there are graphical step-by-step compiling tools available. This allows you to add new features or fix existing bugs as needed.
The standard library is still in development, but it's currently inspired by Java's standard APIs for Collections. It's worth noting that the main implementation of the ooc compiler is currently in Java, though the plan is to rewrite it in ooc itself when the project is mature enough.
If you're curious about how ooc is progressing, you can see examples in the examples/ folder on SVN. And if you want to write your own code in ooc, you're more than welcome to do so. Push the compiler to its limits and see what it can do!
