Pebbles

As a board game and puzzle enthusiast, I highly recommend Pebbles. It’s a challenging and addictive game that requires a lot of skill and strategy. The object of the game is to figure out a set of secret codes formed by color pebbles within 10 tries.

When you start the game, you’ll be given an empty decoding board with 10 rows of small holes. On the left of the board, there are 8 pebbles of different colors on the selection panel. Your goal is to drag up to 4 pebbles onto the bottom row of the decoding board to make your first guess. Once you’ve made your guess, click the Guess button on the right.

It’s important to note that the set of codes may be composed of different color combinations, and spaces may appear in the codes. Each time you make a guess, a feedback will appear on the right of the board. A green light means that both the color and position of a pebble in your guess is correct, while a white light means that the color of a pebble is correct but the position is wrong.

It’s essential to keep in mind that the positions of the lights don't necessarily represent the positions of correct pebbles. If no light appears, then your guess is entirely wrong. You can modify your guesses based on the given feedback until you reveal the entire set of codes.

If you need help, you can click the Colour Hint button on the right of the board to remove an incorrect color pebble from the selection panel. However, each time you receive a color hint, 10% of your final score will be deducted. Similarly, you can click the Reveal button to see one answer at the top of the board, but you will lose 20% of your final score each time you do so.

The current percentage of score penalty will be displayed under the Reveal button, and the amount of time you spent will be recorded on the left of the board. Overall, Pebbles is a fantastic game that challenges your problem-solving skills while also providing endless hours of entertainment.
