RoasterBase stores coffee roasting profiles for easy access and reference.
There are a number of key features that make RoasterBase stand out. Firstly, the software supports live data input and capture when roasting. You can also manage beans, blends, and profiles, as well as cupping profiles for all three. Furthermore, the software allows for stock management of beans, and provides auto-decrease stock feature when roasting. You can also decrease your bean stock proportionally when roasting a blend.
Another important feature of RoasterBase is its graphical roasting profile plot. It allows you to export your plot to an image, and show and auto-advance instructions when re-roasting a profile. Additionally, the software supports metric and imperial systems. It also supports "Gene" time ("1.5") and "normal" time ("1:30").
To use RoasterBase, you will need to have Python installed on your computer.
In the latest release of RoasterBase, several bugs have been fixed. The reroast plot and window sizing have been improved, and reroast now displays (re)sc/fc in the legend. Time-remain is now also displayed in the reroast feature. Additionally, error-calculation has been added to the plot, and both plots have been made nicer. The software has also almost finished the "reroast" dialog to save/recall multiple "roasts" (one profile has many roasts).
Overall, RoasterBase is a fantastic software for coffee enthusiasts. It offers a comprehensive range of features that make it a must-have for anyone interested in coffee roasting.
