The Rxpd plugin for XChat allows users to filter incoming conversations using RegexPolicyDaemon in XChat. This plugin is designed to improve the filtering capabilities of XChat.
The rules in this list name several targets, such as personal, administrative, and commands. The personal rules allow users to ignore messages that match specific criteria. The administrative rules, which are only for users with op privileges, enable users to grant op or kick and ban users from the channel. The commands available to users include features such as RXSTART, RXSTOP, RXADD, RXDEL, RXINFO, and RXDEBUG.
The RXSTART command lets users specify the server:port and list to use for checks, and the prefix will always be prepended to any list used by the plugin. The list should be a generic list that uses the '>' sublists feature to jump into different topiclists. The RXSTOP command disables the plugin, while RXADD lets users add a rule to topiclist. RXDEL lets users delete a rule from topiclists.
In this preview release of the plugin, there is a lot of infrastructure not yet implemented. Nevertheless, the plugin is still an excellent tool for anyone who requires an advanced filtering system for their XChat conversations.
