Scylla Charybdis is a data management software that assists in completing challenging data projects by utilizing two powerful tools. It simplifies the data odyssey process with ease.
With its data throttling feature, Scylla Charybdis helps in preventing your uploads from consuming all your bandwidth, ensuring a seamless SSH experience with zero disruptions. To run Scylla, it must be started from inetd. On the other hand, Charybdis connects to Scylla for uploading files, using the ZLIB compression and SSL encryption protocols. Moreover, this feature offers a partial upload file identification system that allows the missing part of a partially uploaded file to be appended. If the upload is successful. Charybdis provides an exit code of zero.
The built-in timeout protection feature is ideal for dial-up situations, ensuring that Charybdis always maintains a connection. Using the throttle feature ensures that uploads don't use up all your bandwidth, with the added bonus of a progress bar that displays a live upload meter on stdout. This software updates the timeout feature, allowing you to give timeouts on the command line as well, and it includes several other improvements, including a more reliable backuploop.
The README.backup document has been updated and now includes basic documentation. Sc-ssl.h now features the added SSL_active feature, which is critical in preparation for the non-SSL mode. Additionally, the RATIONALE feature provides the reason why this software is vital. Finally, the README.restore document now describes an alternative method, which is yet to be tested, for using little_poseidon.awk.
