A GNOME desktop software that mimics the appearance of Windows 7.
To install Seven Redo, simply right-click on your desktop and select "Change Desktop Background." From there, click on the first tab labeled "Theme" and drag and drop the theme's archive into the Appearance Preferences window. If everything is okay, you will receive a confirmation message and can then activate the theme by just clicking on it.
GNOME is the graphical user interface that sits on top of a computer operating system. It is an international effort to build a complete desktop environment entirely from free software. This goal includes creating software development frameworks, selecting application software for the desktop, and working on the programs that manage application launching, file handling, and window and task management.
GNOME is a part of the GNU Project and can be used with various Unix-like operating systems, particularly Linux, and as part of Java Desktop System in Solaris. The name originally stood for GNU Network Object Model Environment, although this acronym is deprecated. The GNOME project has an emphasis on simplicity, usability, and making things "just work."
