SmartMover for Exchange automatically moves messages to designated folders based on recipient's SMTP address. Compatible with Exchange 2000/2003.
For example, I tried this out on a mailbox with a primary SMTP address of [email protected] and secondary SMTP addresses of [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]. The user, John, wished for messages sent to his secondary SMTP addresses to be automatically placed in two folders he had created, namely "John2" and "John3". Both folders existed on the upper level, alongside the Inbox, Outbox, and other standard folders.
With SmartMover, messages sent to [email protected] were promptly moved to the John2 folder, and those sent to [email protected] found their way to the John3 folder. However, since there was no JohnD folder in the mailbox, messages sent to [email protected] ended up in the default Inbox folder. It's worth noting that messages sent to [email protected] were also correctly placed in the primary mailbox.
In conclusion, SmartMover for Exchange 2000/2003 is a great application that solves the problem of managing multiple SMTP addresses associated with a mailbox. Its ability to automate the organization of messages into specific folders based on recipient names makes it a valuable asset for any user who wants to streamline their mailbox management process.
