T2Tools software converts between various file formats used to store data, featuring Python scripts as its main application.
One of the notable features of T2Tools is its compatibility with ROMs produced by Slogger, a leading Acorn peripheral manufacturer. Unlike traditional file transfer methods, programs created using T2Tools will compile all of your files in a single tape image. This tape image is then converted to a format that is similar to the ones used for games on ROM cartridges.
T2Tools is capable of reading tape images produced by both T2Peg400 and T2P3, and extracting all files successfully. Along with this, the package also includes a plethora of utilities to facilitate conversion between popular file formats. This includes ADFS disc images, the "standard archiving format" (INF), and UEF tape files. With these utilities, you can easily convert your files to formats that are supported by your emulators.
The latest version of T2Tools now features the CMDSyntax library. This library provides an optional graphical form interface for users, allowing you to avoid using the command line. The library is also included in the archive, so you won't have to download it separately. Overall, T2Tools is an all-in-one package that provides a seamless and effortless solution for converting and transferring files on Acorn 8 bit machines.
