Today Calendar is a straightforward software that functions as a multilingual calendar screenlet, perfect for displaying upcoming events and tasks.
Prior to version 0.0.14, Screenlets were only scripted in Python and drawn as SVG, but developers have also added support for web widgets since then. Web widgets are similar to Apple's Dashboard widgets in that they're written in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
To use TodayCalendar, you'll need Screenlets installed on your system first. Then, simply place the widget in the /usr/local/share/screenlets directory and launch it from there.
The latest version of TodayCalendar includes a few handy updates. You can now align the widget with the sidebar screenlet, and support has been added for icalendar. Additionally, there are more skins to choose from to personalize your calendar widget.
