AccUserList provides a convenient way to identify users currently logged into the MS Access database.
By using AccUserList, you can get a detailed list of machines that are hosting your database file including mdb, mde, accde, or accdb files. This list comes with key information such as the name of the workstation that the user is on (COMPUTER_NAME), whether the user is currently connected to the system or not (CONNECTED), and whether the user was disconnected abnormally (SUSPECT_STATE).
It is important to note that if you want to check Access 2007 databases, you will need to have 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components (AccessDatabaseEngine.exe) installed. This is a free download that you can get from Microsoft's website. AccUserList is compatible with all databases using the JET 4.0 engine such as MS Access 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2007. Overall, AccUserList is an essential tool for effective database management.
