AddTraction is a two-player board game that makes use of SDL and involves numbers.
To take turns, each player sets one field on the board. By doing so, the field will assume the sum of the points of its eight surrounding fields. However, if the field belongs to the opponent, their score is subtracted instead of added. If the resulting score is positive, the field will become the player's color, otherwise it will belong to the opponent.
This same mechanism applies to the global score, which is calculated as the colored difference between the scores of all fields on the board. If the final score is red, then the red player wins. If it is green, then the green player wins. If the score is black (0), then it is a draw.
To run this game, you will need to have libSDL and a display resolution of 800x600@16. The latest release of AddTraction includes several improvements, such as cursor keyboard control, window title, and the removal of the lua prototype version.
Overall, AddTraction offers a unique and challenging gameplay experience, combining strategy and numbers in an exciting board game.
