AGNULA is a GNU/Linux audio distribution project funded by the C.E. It's pronounced with a strong g.
AGNULA's primary objective is to develop two distributions for the GNU/Linux operating system that are based entirely on free software and cater to both professional and consumer audio applications and multimedia development. One of these distributions, DeMuDi, is Debian-based while the other, ReHMuDi, is Red Hat-based. They will both be available for download on the network and on CD.
The project started on April 1, 2002, and spanned two years. In the second year, AGNULA extended its scope to include hardware platforms other than PCs, such as PowerPCs and 64-bit architectures.
Overall, AGNULA is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a high-quality audio distribution that is both free and open-source.
