AjaxFTP is a ready-to-use FTP component that can be easily embedded into Web 2.0 apps.
Installation of AjaxFTP is made easy by decompressing and Untaring the ajaxftp.tar.gz archive and placing it in the desired directory. Following this, simply include the code on a PHP page:
< ? require('ajaxftp/ajaxftp.php'); $aj = new AJAXFTP; $aj->server = "ftp.connect-to-this-site.com"; $aj->baseurl = ""; $aj->present(); ? >
The server variable allows for the selection of the desired FTP server while the baseurl variable reflects the URL that will be used to access the AjaxFTP widget.
The latest release of AjaxFTP has introduced a number of new features, including the synchronization of the version number with the commercial version. Additionally, AjaxFTP now supports automatic login to an FTP server and has been modified to remove test data from the downloadtmp directory.
