Apache::ASP is a Perl-based implementation of Active Server Pages for Apache servers.
Some key features of Apache ASP include its natural and powerful scripting syntax, a rich objects developer API, and a web application events model. Furthermore, the tool allows for modular SSI decomposition and code sharing, user sessions, CIFS and NFS cluster readiness, XML/XSLT rendering, and custom tag technology. In terms of compatibility, the software is also equipped with CGI and PERLSCRIPT compatibility, making it a highly versatile and functional option.
Lastly, great open-source support is available with Apache ASP. This program works seamlessly on the Apache Web Server with the mod_perl module enabled. The latest release includes updates that will allow $Server->Transfer to update correctly, return 0 for mod_perl handler to work with the latest mod_perl 2 release when returning 200 ( HTTP_OK ) before, and fix a bug in $Server->URL when called like $Server->URL($url) without parameters. However, it's not apparent which Perl versions this bug affected.
