A tool for editing avi files in a visually simple way, perfect for users who prefer effortless video editing.
Designed for a smooth transition from win apps like Gspot and Fourcc changer, Aviutils2 is a better graphics single tab version. However, note that it's experimental because of the string functions. It has been tested and works only in Gentoo/KDE3.5.0.
Instructions for using this tool are simple: choose the version you want (AviUtils or AviUtils2) and put the content of the chosen folder into ~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/servicemenus. This allows AviUtils to be used as a service-menu for avi files.
To use AviUtils, you'll need Transcode.
This release of AviUtils has removed some obsolete initialization lines. This update is particularly useful if you have experienced the "unknown function group: Timer7" error at startup.
