Catalyst enables users to send templated email messages with ease. This software provides a simple and effective way to streamline communication with customers or subscribers. Its email templates allow for consistency and efficiency in messaging, saving time and effort.
To configure the view, you can use the helper to create it by running the command "$ script/myapp_create.pl view Email::Template Email::Template". For basic configuration, take a look at the "CONFIGURATION" section in Catalyst::View::Email. In your app configuration, you can specify optional prefixes to look somewhere under the existing configured template paths. By default, there is no prefix. You can also define the defaults for the mail, such as the default view that will be used to render the templates. If you don't tell Catalyst explicitly which of your views should be its default one, C::V::Email::Template may choose the wrong one.
To send an email, you can use the same method as in Catalyst::View::Email by specifying the template instead of the body and forwarding it to your Email::Template view. You can set the to, cc, bcc, from, subject, template, and content_type variables in the stash. Alternatively, if you want more control over your templates, you can use the templates idiom to override the defaults. Here, you can specify a template, content_type, charset, and view for each template.
