Certis is a straightforward and highly reusable PHP MVC framework that emphasizes ease of use. It assists developers in creating scalable and maintainable web applications with fewer lines of code.
The developer behind Certis was initially inspired to create the project after relocating to Baltimore and realizing the need for a fast and efficient PHP framework. Using the ideas of a friend (and potentially some of their code too!), the Certis framework was born.
As an MVC framework, Certis is geared towards the needs of lazy coders who want to contribute to the PHP development community without sacrificing flexibility or ease-of-use. The framework requires PHP version 5.2 or higher, along with MySQL 5.0 or above.
The latest release of Certis has fixed various bugs that were present in the 0.1-pre-alpha version, bringing it closer to its beta release. There are only two items left on the to-do list for Certis before the beta version is ready for use.
