The software known as Multithread Network Port Scanner employs 50 POSIX threads to conduct host scans efficiently.
Another tool that I found useful is the Conntrack-Viewer, which is a Perl script designed to view masquerading connections with iptables. In the past, it was easy to view masquerading connections with ipchains using commands such as "netstat -M" or "netstat --masquerade." However, with iptables, these commands no longer work and searching for information about masquerading connections can be quite difficult.
This is where the Conntrack-Viewer comes in handy. It allows the user to easily access information in a clear and organized manner using /proc/net/ip_conntrack. The most recent release has also improved service detection by utilizing both distant and source ports.
Overall, I found these tools to be incredibly useful for network administrators and anyone looking to efficiently scan ports or view masquerading connections.
