"Game of Life" is a basic game that allows players to simulate life processes such as growth, interaction and reproduction. With an easy-to-use interface, it is a straightforward and enjoyable way to explore the overall concept of life.
One thing that I really appreciated about this implementation was the range of command line arguments available. To see them all, simply type "Life.py --help" into the command line. However, my personal favorite settings were achieved with "Life.py --gridsize=256 --numcells=10000". If you want to profile the code yourself, you can do so using the same settings I used: "Life.py --gridsize=256 --numcells=10000 --profile".
Overall, I feel that this implementation is quite optimized. However, if you have any other suggestions for optimization, the developer encourages you to leave a comment on their blog. I, for one, am excited to see what they come up with next!
