Core2mon is a user-friendly tool for monitoring the Core 2 Duo CPU. It operates through a Superkaramba theme, making it easy to use and understand.
During my research, I struggled to find any other meters that met my criteria for a simple, attractive and reliable dual core CPU monitor. Fortunately, core2mon exceeded all expectations and proved to be the ideal solution.
To fully utilize the temperature monitor feature, it is recommended that you have a recent iteration of lm-sensors and kernel version 2.6.22 or higher. This will ensure that the coretemp module functions seamlessly, providing a detailed look at the temperature of your CPU.
As the developer's first theme, core2mon is open to feedback and suggestions. If you encounter any issues or have any recommendations for future updates, please do not hesitate to contact the developer.
To use core2mon effectively, three requirements must be met: Superkaramba, lm-sensors and kernel version 2.6.22.
In the latest release, the temperature sensor has been fixed for the updated coretemp module, ensuring accurate and reliable results every time.
