Cpop is a message system software that enables sending of network popup messages using the jpop protocol. It comes with a user-friendly GTK+ interface.
The UNIX/GTK+ native version of cpop is currently available, while the cross-platform, Java version is called jpop. To get started with cpop, make sure you have the required software and build environment, including GTK2.2 and a sane Linux build environment.
In the latest release, cpop has added a GUI client, making it easier than ever to take advantage of this useful software. Additionally, string incompatabilities with the jpop server have been fixed, and the arbitrary message size limit has been removed. Upgrade to cpop today and enjoy seamless network messaging!
