CurlyML is a compact data and document storage and transmission format. It provides a simple and organized structure for data management.
One of the main features of CurlyML is its use of alphanumeric parent node names, with underscores and hyphens allowed for readability. Multiple top-level nodes are also supported, with the document considered the root node. Leaf nodes can contain any text, and child node text can be enclosed in double quotes to preserve spaces or display curly braces and quotes.
CurlyML also allows for C/Java-style escape characters in quoted text, including Unicode characters. Comments can be added with the # symbol, but must start on a new line or after a space. Opening and closing curly brackets must match, and the default character set is UTF-8.
Overall, CurlyML is a concise and user-friendly option for structured data and document storage and sharing.
