Daffodil Replicator is an open source data syncing program that guarantees data availability in diverse database environments.
This software comes with a log file that helps users monitor replication procedures. The file records details such as the date and time of the operation, the type of replication, the status of the replication operation, and statistical data. With this feature, users can easily track and trace replication processes.
The software also provides debugging facilities using ‘Log4j’. Users can set the logging option to Warn, Error, Fatal, Debug, Info, Off, or All depending on the debug level. This feature offers flexibility and control over the amount and type of logging to be performed.
In the new version of Replicator, users can now update an existing publication or subscription by adding or dropping tables from it. Unlike earlier versions of Daffodil Replicator, users no longer need to remove the entire publication to add or remove tables. This upgrade has added more convenience to users, especially those who frequently update publications or subscriptions.
