David's Perl Games is an assortment of arcade-style games with ASCII graphics written in Perl.
These games are an ideal way to learn Perl programming skills, as they offer straightforward implementation that algorithm novices can immediately jump into. Among the games included in this project are PerlBlaster, in which players must fend off an alien invasion, PerlRacer, which requires navigating a winding path with a car, and PerlArena, involving battling against a horde of mutants.
To use this project, players need a Perl interpreter, and two Perl modules: Curses.pm and TermReadKey.pm. These requirements are all clearly stated on the project page, so users can download and set up the necessary environment to enjoy David's Perl Games project.
