DocFlex/Doclet

DocFlex/Doclet is a powerful tool for creating Java API documentation generators in multiple formats. As a freeware edition of DocFlex/Javadoc, it includes the "DocFlex Doclet" which is a template interpreter and output generator wrapped as a Javadoc doclet. This provides users with a little GUI where they can customize settings, start the generation process, track progress, and stop the process at any time.

Included in the software are two ready-to-use template sets. The first, Basic Template Set, is an earlier version of the standard set that can be used to generate Java API documentation for any project in any supported format. The second template set is the "JavadocPro," which is the most advanced Java API documentation generator available. This set includes support for filtering of classes and members by tags/annotations. However, in the free edition, this set is limited in functionality. Users can still generate full-blown framed HTML documentation identical to classic JavaDoc, with the same functionality as provided by the standard Javadoc. This is especially useful for those who prefer the classic JavaDoc design introduced in Java 7.
