This Javadoc doclet software generates classic framed JavaDoc, single-file HTML and high-quality RTF, rendering HTML tags and images embedded within Java comments. It supports Java 5.0 language features and also features a GUI.
Included in the software are two ready-to-use template sets. The first, Basic Template Set, is an earlier version of the standard set that can be used to generate Java API documentation for any project in any supported format. This set can generate basic content such as project overviews, package summaries, and class details. Additionally, it fully supports all Java 5 language features and can create complex RTF JavaDocs with practically usable HTML tags, including the insertion of images.
The second template set is the "JavadocPro," which is the most advanced Java API documentation generator available. This set includes support for filtering of classes and members by tags/annotations. However, in the free edition, this set is limited in functionality. Users can still generate full-blown framed HTML documentation identical to classic JavaDoc, with the same functionality as provided by the standard Javadoc. This is especially useful for those who prefer the classic JavaDoc design introduced in Java 7.
Overall, DocFlex/Doclet is an excellent software tool for creating Java API documentation generators in various output formats. You can read more about it on the official announcement page, here: www.filigris.com/ann/docflex_javadoc_v1.6.0/.
